7th AWARD VILA WINE TASTING COMPETITION IN PAIRS


Gema Jarné and Jordi Carrascosa were the winners of the 6th edition of Vila Viniteca Wine Tasting Competition in Pairs celebrated the 30th March 2014 in La Casa Llotja de Mar de Barcelona. Ramón Jané and Antoni Carbó (also second classified at 6th Tasting Competition in Pairs) and the third place was for Santiago Cadavid and Rafael Reyes.
 


7º Premio Vila Viniteca de Cata por Parejas


The award shared out a total amount of 30.000 € amongst the top three: the first couple which was classified received 20.000 euros, the second one received 7.000 euros and the third one received 3.000 euros. All the participants, professionals and also wine world enthusiasts, had to find out, amongst other questions, which were the designation of origin, type of grape, country, vintage, producer and brand of the tasted wines.

Alfonso Torrente Solana and Roberto Santana Morales were the winners of the 6th edition of Vila Viniteca Wine Tasting Competition in Pairs celebrated on 10th March 2013 in El Casino de Madrid.

In the 5th edition of Vila Viniteca Wine Tasting Competition in Pairs, which was held on 25th March 2012 at La Casa Llotja de Mar in Barcelona, the wines which were classified for the Classifying Round and the Grand Final were:

The winners of the 5th Award Vila Viniteca Wine Tasting Competition in Pairs were Pierre Citerne, archaeologist and writer, and Didier Sánchez, artisan; both French. The second prize was for David Sampedro Gil, winemaker, and Bruno Murciano Gallego, sommelier in London. The third classified couple was the one composed by Pedro Morales de León, engineer and wine merchant, and Juan Diego Morales de León, also wine merchant.
