Bründlmayer Brut Reserve is one of the sparkling wines crafted by Willi Bründlmayer in his historic winery located in the Kamptal region of Austria.
The blend includes not only Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, and Pinot Blanc, but also the local Grüner Veltliner grape, which imparts a unique character.
The base wine undergoes aging for one year in large barrels and Austrian oak foudres. After the secondary fermentation in the bottle, the wine is aged for a minimum of 18 months in the cellars.
This sparkling wine is ideal with smoked salmon, distinguished by its creamy texture on the palate and toasted, slightly oxidative notes. It is savory, mineral-driven, and finishes with a persistent citrus zest.
