Bründlmayer Riesling Terrassen 2019

Bründlmayer Riesling Terrassen 2019

Weingut Bründlmayer Riesling Terrassen 2019
is a coupage of Rieslings that come from different vineyards planted on terraces (between 260 and 380 metres). The highest are found on stony soils that offer fruity wines with mineral nuances and good ageing potential. The lower terraced vines grow in part on fertile loess soils that offer earlier maturing wines, very expressive in their youth. The union of both offers fine and structured wines. It was aged in stainless steel tanks.

TASTING NOTES (Published in El Club July 2020)
Weingut Bründlmayer Riesling Terrassen 2019 has a delicate, bright and limpid straw yellow colour. On the nose it is very fresh with intense notes of citrus fruits such as lemon and lime, as well as green apple, freshly cut grass and a subtle hint of smoke. On the palate it is electric from the first sip, unctuous, wide and savory, with citrus notes, green apple and a slight final saline sensation. Ideal with all kinds of fatty fish, spicy and spicy dishes and all kinds of fish rice. To be enjoyed from now on and for the next two years –served fresh– between 9 and 11ºC in the Riesling glass from the Veritas series by Riedel (6449/15) or in the Riesling glass from the Vinum series by Riedel (446/15).
