Cayuse Vineyards is an exciting winery located in Walla Walla Valley, a wine region in the southern part of Washington state, near the Oregon border. In 1997, Christophe Baron, born into a family of winemakers from Champagne, purchased his first vineyard in the area, drawn by the stony soils reminiscent of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
One of their outstanding reds is the En Chamberlin Syrah 2018, sourced from a vineyard planted in 2001 with a high density and farmed biodynamically. Only 5,200 bottles were produced of this enigmatic, deep, and fleshy red, true to the style that has brought worldwide acclaim to Cayuse.
