Château Latour is a historic estate in Pauillac (Bordeaux), classified as Premier Grand Cru in 1855, where one of the most sought-after fine wines in the world is produced. It was acquired by François Pinault (Artémis Domaines) in 1993. Later, in 1998, Frédéric Engerer joined as general manager, introducing significant improvements in both viticulture and the winery.
The vineyard is a beautiful garden of 92 hectares, of which 47 surround the château. This area is known as L’Enclos and is dedicated to the production of the Grand Vin.
Château Latour 2010 is a blend of 90.5% cabernet sauvignon, 8.5% merlot, and 0.5% petit verdot. This vintage is considered exceptional by Latour, highly praised by critics and contributing to the legend of this iconic wine.
