La primavera fue fresca y húmeda, con una floración generosa y uniforme. El verano, cálido y seco, pero sin extremos, aportó un estrés hídrico moderado que llevó a una maduración perfecta.
La vendimia fue del 13 al 23 de septiembre. El ensamblaje es de un 92,5 % de cabernet sauvignon y un 7,5 % de merlot.
De estas condiciones generosas, se ha modelado un tinto con cuerpo, con unos taninos excelentes y aún un poco rugosos, sostenido por una estructura elegante.
