José Manuel Pérez Ovejas, one of the most renowned winemakers in the Ribera del Duero region, is establishing Dominio de Calogía, his cherished personal project.
This wine is made exclusively from selected Tinto Fino grapes grown in his own vineyards—some up to 80 years old—located in the Calogía area between Roa and Pedrosa de Duero (Burgos).
After a double selection process in the vineyard and meticulous vinification, the aging period extends for 12 months in French oak barrels.
Each wine is a faithful expression of its vintage, all sharing a common thread of harmony and elegance, with excellent aging potential.
