Egon Müller Scharzhofberger Beerenauslese 2015 (Magnum) - Auction

Each year, the VDP – the prestigious association that brings together some of the best German wine producers – organizes auctions of great wines, following a century-old tradition.

The most anticipated event is the one featuring wines from Mosel-Saar-Ruwer, known as Grosser Ring, whose latest edition took place on September 15th in Trier.

Each winery selects its most extraordinary wines from the latest vintage and, on some occasions, rare bottles from previous vintages, whether dry or from various categories of sweet wines.

After evaluation, a starting price is set, and the wines are auctioned to the highest bidder.

This year, as in previous editions, we attended this renowned auction and acquired some prized bottles that will not be available through regular channels.
