October 2024: The wines from Ribeira Sacra
SELECTION N. 353
In October, we take a tour of three Ribeira Sacra wineries that claim the authentic and defined personality of the wines of this region.
From Dominio do Bibei, one of the leading wineries, we have selected two magnificent cuvées made with the typical varieties of the area, a white –Lapola 2021– and a red –Lalama 2021–; Quinta do Estranxeiro, by renowned winemaker Eulogio Pomares, takes us to the slopes of the Miño River with Mencía Garda 2022 and his elegant red Finca Penapedre 2021; and the Adega Damm winery brings us the personal vision of its owner and viticulturist, the Danish Martin Damm, with two great wines from the vertiginous terraces of Amandi: Cardia Doade 2022 and Cardia Pombeiras Alta 2022.
