Grey Goose (6L)
Grey Goose is a French vodka conceived by Sidney Frank and crafted under the direction of François Thibault, Maître de Chai, who oversees every stage of the process.
The soft winter wheat is exclusively grown in the Picardy region, renowned for the quality of its grains, while the distillation and final blending take place in Cognac, imparting a distinctive mark of origin.
Production begins with the use of enzymes to convert the wheat’s carbohydrates into fermentable sugars. Fermentation is carried out continuously through six cascading tanks, producing a mash with 20 degrees of alcohol.
This mash then undergoes a five-step distillation process designed to achieve maximum purity and aromatic neutrality. The vodka is bottled at 40% alcohol by volume.
On the nose, Grey Goose offers a clean and subtle expression, with notes of fresh grain and a slightly floral background.
On the palate, it has a smooth and silky entry, with a rounded and balanced texture, and precise alcohol integration that leaves a clean finish with hints of white bread and sweet almond.
It is recommended to serve neat, well chilled, in a solid-base glass, or as a base in classic cocktails like the Martini, where its purity and texture bring elegance and balance.
