The famous "La Guita" Manzanilla is been made for over 150 years by one of the most emblematic wineries in Sanlúcar de Barrameda. Its name originates from an anecdote of its founder, Domingo Pérez Marín. When someone wanted to buy manzanilla atthe cellar, he always asked: "Do you have guita?", Referring to if the interested person was carrying money. As time goes by, the winery began to be popularly called "La Guita". In 1908, to reaffirm the brand, it was included in the record and a piece of "guita" (thin hemp string) was added to each bottle. Palomino Fino mainly from Pago de Miraflores with 4 years of aging. Its freshness, delicacy and the light saline notes on the palate make it ideal to enjoy fresh with appetizers, ham, cheese, prawns, omelette and preserves.
