Laphroaig, one of Islay’s most iconic distilleries, is renowned for its intensely smoky character and commitment to traditional production methods.

The Laphroaig 25 Years Cask Strength 2023 edition is a limited release celebrating a quarter-century of maturation in ex-Bourbon barrels, bottled at its natural cask strength (47.3% ABV) and without chill filtration.

Over its twenty-five years of aging, this single malt evolves from youthful sweetness marked by red fruits and vanilla to a more complex, fruit-forward profile, where ripe fruit notes intertwine with the distillery’s signature smoke.

On the nose, it reveals aromas of elegant peat, candied fruits, and subtle hints of sweet spices. On the palate, the entry is silky and enveloping, with layers of red fruits, vanilla, and refined smokiness that integrates seamlessly.

The finish is long, balanced, and persistent, featuring a delicate bitterness and the characteristic saline notes of Islay.

Due to its structure and concentration, it is recommended to enjoy neat or with a few drops of water to unlock additional nuances, served in a Glencairn glass at room temperature.
