Macallan Reflexion

Macallan Reflexion

Macallan's story began in Scotland in 1824, in the Spey River region, when Alexander Reid secured a legal license. His first revolutionary idea was to age his whiskeys in Jerez wine barrels, as well as in Bourbon barrels, and distill in small stills. This practice continues today and is part of the essence of a distillery that achieves the color of its whiskeys naturally and that 4 years ago auctioned one of them for more than half a million euros. Macallan Reflexion is a single malt with a great body and an intense natural color. It ages in small barrels, so that a greater surface of the wood interacts with the whiskey and get more complexity. Citrus, green apple, chocolate, toffee caramel, truffles, banana and sweet oak aromas. On the palate, it has a light touch of lemon zest and an elegant sweet of orange, raisins, cinnamon and ginger.
