In 2007, Javier Zaccagnini founded Sei Solo winery, now led by his son Michael. The name refers to the first two words of a score by Johann Sebastian Bach, Zaccagnini's favourite composer.
Sei Solo 2020 is the latest vintage of their flagship wine, made from tempranillo sourced from small plots of very old vines, aged between 60 and 100 years, in La Horra (Burgos).
This red is meticulously crafted, from vineyard to winery, with a very restrained wood ageing treatment to preserve the fruit and harmony of the wine. It can be enjoyed now or cellared for more than ten years.
