Ribera del Duero has established itself as one of the Spanish denominations of origin with the most international projection. More than 2,500 years cultivating vineyards along 115 km and 35 in width in the Community of Castilla y León, spread over the provinces of Valladolid, Burgos, Segovia and Soria, with more than 300 registered wineries and about 8,000 winegrowers with a 24,014 hectares of vineyards divided into 62,402 plots.
On the occasion of the 40 years since its foundation, this January we propose a selection of six reds - all made with Tinto Fino - of some of the most prestigious wineries of the Denomination: the outstanding Reserva of Viña Pedrosa, the seductive Vizcarra by Juan Carlos Vizcarra, the initial Tinto Fino from Jorge Monzón and Isabel Rodero's exciting project in La Aguilera, the elegant wine from the Cepa 21 project, the sensational Crianza by Cillar de Silos and the magnificent red from Bertrand Sourdais with its Antídoto project.
