This November "El Club" offers six wines from six wineries focused on organic and biodynamic viticulture.
Las Uvas de la Ira Vino del Pueblo 2017 is one of the freshest and most accessible wines from Daniel Gómez Jiménez-Landi's personal project in Méntrida, in the Sierra de Gredos. A 65-year-old tall Garnacha planted on granite soils.
Planetes de Nin Garnatxes in Àmfora 2018 is the latest vintage of one of the unique wines by Ester Nin and Carles Ortiz in Priorat. Exclusively Garnacha from the Planetes Estate in Porrera, with little yield. A fresh, tasty, complex and very elegant red wine.
Quinta Sardonia QS2 2017 is made with different varieties that come from vineyards also cultivated following the precepts of biodynamics in Valladolid.
Cornerstone 2015 is made by Johan Reyneke, one of the most passionate South African winemakers of the last decade. It is a coupage with the best Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc grapes from one of the Stellenbosch slopes.
Jean-Louis Trapet and his wife Andrée work in biodynamics at both Alsace and Bourgogne. The Pinot Noir that is part of this selection is pure, intense and concentrated. Finally, the selection is closed by a proposal by Bertrand Sourdais from Domaine de Pallus, his family project in Chinon (Loire): Messanges Rouge Chinon 2018, a fragrant Cabernet Franc with a good lay-down capacity.
