Gordon's (Miniatura)
Gordon's is one of England’s most iconic London Dry gins, with a history dating back to 1769.
Crafted following the traditional recipe, it stands out for its focus on ingredient quality and production consistency, overseen by Master Distiller Terry Fraser.
Its base is a neutral grain spirit, to which juniper, coriander seeds, angelica root, licorice, orris root, orange peel, and lemon peel are added.
The distillation is carried out in three stages, a process that contributes to the gin’s purity and distinctive aromatic profile.
There is no specified use of cold filtration or added colorants, and the alcohol content varies by market, typically ranging between 37.5% and 40%.
On the nose, classic juniper notes predominate, accompanied by citrus nuances and a herbal background. On the palate, the entry is dry and fresh, with a balanced development between spicy character and rooty undertones.
The finish is clean, with moderate bitterness and well-integrated alcohol.
It is recommended to serve neat, over ice, or in classic cocktails such as the Gin & Tonic or Martini, where its dry and straightforward profile provides structure and freshness.
