Bacardi is one of the most internationally recognized rum houses, founded in 1862 in Santiago de Cuba and currently based in Puerto Rico.
Its Superior White Rum is a benchmark in the category, crafted under strict quality standards with a focus on consistency and smoothness in the final profile.
This rum is made from molasses, fermented with Bacardí’s exclusive yeast strain for 30 to 36 hours.
The distillation process combines continuous column stills, which contribute lightness, and copper pot stills, which add greater character and body.
After distillation, the spirit is aged for 1 to 2 years in toasted American white oak barrels, then undergoes filtration through charcoal—a method patented by the brand.
The rum is bottled at 40% alcohol by volume, following a cold filtration process and with no added colorants. On the nose, Bacardi Superior White Rum offers clean notes of vanilla, almond, and subtle citrus nuances.
On the palate, it is light, dry, and balanced, with a smooth texture and precise alcohol integration. The finish is short, fresh, and subtly sweet, without harsh edges.
It is ideal to enjoy neat, on the rocks, or as a base in classic cocktails such as the Daiquiri, Mojito, or Cuba Libre, where its neutral profile and light texture provide great versatility.
