Viña Corrales Fino Saca 2024

Finally available: the new 2024 release from Viña Corrales, the exclusive fino by Peter Sisseck (Dominio de Pingus) and Carlos del Río (Hacienda Monasterio) from their San Francisco Javier Winery in Jerez. For Peter, the great white wine of Spain is Sherry. It originates from a unique vineyard—giving the wine its name—consisting of 8 hectares of Palomino vines planted 30 years ago in Pago Balbaína, one of the most esteemed historic vineyards in the Jerez region.

After an extended aging period of 9 years using the traditional solera and criadera system, the 2024 release was drawn in May when the yeast forming the flor veil was at its most active, in a year that provided ideal conditions for particularly healthy biological aging. This limited edition is capped at 8,000 bottles, meant to be enjoyed as a premium white wine served in a Burgundy glass.
