Jameson is the emblem of Irish whiskey produced by Irish Distillers at the New Midleton Distillery, located in County Cork.

The distillery, renowned for its focus on tradition and quality, uses malted and unmalted Irish barley, along with corn and pure local water, in a process that reflects the classic character of the region.

Crafted from a blend of grain whiskey and single pot still whiskey, Jameson is triple-distilled in traditional copper pot stills and column stills for the grain, contributing to its renowned smoothness.

The aging process takes place for a minimum of four years in first-fill bourbon and sherry casks, adding complexity and aromatic nuances to the blend.

On the nose, clean notes of cereal, vanilla, nuts, and a subtle woody background are appreciated.

On the palate, it offers a smooth and rounded entry, with hints of honey, gentle spices, and a touch of nuts, balanced by a light texture and a medium finish where wood and sweetness integrate elegantly.

Due to its balanced profile and moderate alcohol content, it is recommended to enjoy Jameson neat, on the rocks, or in classics such as Irish Coffee or the Highball.
